NORTH SEA (May 31, 2021) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) breaks away from the fast combat support ship USNS Supply (T-AOE 6) after completing a replenishment-at-sea in the North Sea, May 31, 2021. Roosevelt is participating in exercise At-Sea Demo/Formidable Shield, conducted by Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO on behalf of U.S. 6th Fleet, a live-fire integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) exercise that improves Allied interoperability using NATO command and control reporting structures.
