ST. LOUIS (May 29, 2021) Graves of veterans are decorated with American flags for Memorial Day at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo., May 29, 2021. Approximately 70 volunteers from various organizations, including chiefs and Future Sailors at Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Mid America, placed flags on 9,680 graves during a flag laying commemoration, a tradition that has continued for more than six decades at Jefferson Barracks during Memorial Day weekend. NTAG Mid America, part of Navy Recruiting Command, recruits the next generation of Navy Sailors throughout areas encompassing Missouri, Kansas, central and southern Illinois, and a portion of Kentucky.
