ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 28, 2021) Commandant of the Marine Corps General David H. Burger addresses the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 2021 during their commissioning ceremony at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Class of 2021 graduated 1,084 midshipmen and were addressed by Vice President Kamala Harris. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
