PHILIPPINE SEA (May 27, 2021) The U.S. Navy�s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), conducts a fueling-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 195), while the guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) prepares to conduct a replenishment-at-sea with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, as well as the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
