SAN ANTONIO, Texas (May 13, 2021) Rear Adm. Cynthia Kuehner, right, 26th director of the Navy Nurse Corps, and Capt. Ann Case, commander of Navy Medicine Training Support Command (NMTSC), watch a presentation on the history of the Navy Nurse Corps during a ceremony honoring the 113th Navy Nurse Corps birthday. This year's observance was unique compared to previous years, where every medical facility would host their own ceremony. This year's celebration was conducted by Microsoft Teams and provided various regions a chance to participate in different parts of the ceremony, providing for more inclusiveness.
