DARWIN, Australia (May 4, 2021) U.S. Navy corpsmen and U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, and a flight nurse, carry an injured Marine to an aeromedical helicopter during a simulated medical evacuation at Mount Bundey Training Area in Australia, May 4, 2021. A medevac is the extraction of a critically wounded individual by aeromedical transport from the scene of an accident to a medical facility.
