CAMP PENDLETON, Calf. (April 28, 2021) Construction Mechanic Constructionman Triston Wilson, from Big Sandy, Texas, assigned to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 1, uses signal flags to guide a Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC), attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, during ship to shore operations from the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Sailors and Marines of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are conducting routine training off the coast of southern California.
