NORFOLK (April 30, 2021) Electronics Technician 2nd Class Austin Miller, lead technician of the Global Positioning Navigation and Timing Service (GPNTS), demonstrates the user interface of the Global Positioning Navigation and Timing Service (GPNTS) system to Rear Adm. John Okon and Cmdr. Ray Glenn. Okon visited the guided-missile destroyer USS Gonzalez (DDG 66) to discuss with technicians about the operation and maintenance of the GPNTS system from a technicians point of view in order to provide insight for the future development of the system.
