ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 27, 2021) The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) transits through the Atlantic Ocean, April 27, 2021. The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, is forward deployed in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
