ARABIAN SEA (April 27, 2021) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Jason Bird, assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon (DDG 58), chocks and chains a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the �Dusty Dogs� of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7, during flight operations in the Arabian Sea. Laboon is supporting the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group while deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area and conducting naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Pacific Ocean through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
