PORT HUENEME, Calif. (April 22, 2021) Chief Personnel Specialist Mario Solis and Lt. Phillip Moncayo, assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, mix mortar to place concrete masonry unit block as part of Khaki Academy, a leadership training exercise on board Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service.
