PACIFIC OCEAN (April 20, 2021) From right to left, the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), and the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) sail in formation behind the amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27). The Marines and Sailors of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting routine training as part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG).
