SAN DIEGO (April 20, 2021) Navy pilots and aircrew, from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49 and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 41 pose for a photo before taking off on the first all-female crew MH-60R Sea Hawk training flight. HSM-49 and HSM-41 are located at Naval Air Station North Island and provide vertical-launched anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare capabilities to carrier strike groups, amphibious ready groups and independently deployed naval vessels.
