WASHINGTON (April 16, 2021) Patients wait for 15 minutes after receiving their COVID-19 vaccination, in order to self-monitor for allergic reactions or adverse symptoms. Naval Support Activity Washington collaborated with Walter Reed National Medical Center to host a SHOTEX event, capable of providing up to 8,000 Pfizer vaccines over the course of five days.
