MISAWA, Japan (April 12, 2021) Takashi Uto, one of Japan’s State Ministers for Foreign Affairs, tours a P-8A Poseidon, assigned to the “Fighting Tigers” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 8, at Naval Air Facility Misawa. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the role of both Navy and Air Force in Northern Japan in support of the U.S.-Japan Alliance.
