NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. (March 31, 2021) The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11) departs Naval Station Mayport. Sioux City is operating in the U.S. 2nd Fleet in support of naval operations to maintain stability and security in the Atlantic and Arctic in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
