210401-N-YG104-0029 SAN DIEGO (Apr. 1, 2021) Force Master Chief James Osborne, Commander, U.S. Naval Surface Force Pacific, retires after 34 years of service during a ceremony at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Osborne is one of the longest-serving Chief Petty Officers in today’s Navy with more than 26 years in the CPO Mess. His career has focused on supporting, advocating for, and training Sailors in damage control – and the critical role it plays in the success of our force. He is retiring after a career of service in the surface force, the joint environment, and in support assignments in the Global War on Terrorism.
