(April 1, 2021) The Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Providence (SSN 719) transits under the Gold Star Memorial Bridge toward Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., April 1, 2021. Providence returned to homeport from its 16th and final deployment in support of the Navy's maritime strategy, supporting national security interests and maritime security operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
