PACIFIC OCEAN (March 25, 2021) Rear Adm. Philip Sobeck, commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 3, lands aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27) in an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21. U.S. Navy and Marine Corps integration training provides the Essex Amphibious Ready Group/11th MEU its first opportunity to plan, brief, execute, and debrief multiple mission packages.
