(March 9, 2021) U.S. Coast Guardsmen with a Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) fire an M240B machine gun from a response boat during advanced interdiction training near Bombing Target 9, North Carolina, March 9, 2021. MSRT�s mission is to conduct maritime threat response as a primary force or as part of a United States Coast Guard or interagency adaptive force package. Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina�s, training sites, such as BT-11 and BT-9, allow forces from across the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security to come and conduct a wide manner of training events.
