YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 19, 2021) Andrea Hunt, a teacher's aide at The Sullivans School onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), receives the COVID-19 vaccine from Hospital Corpsman Janasia Spotson, assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, during a COVID-19 vaccine distribution at CFAY's Hawk's Nest. Essential front line personnel and service members assigned to CFAY and tenant commands received the one-shot vaccine during the vaccine distribution. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
