ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 16, 2021) Acting Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Thomas W. Harker observes a T-45C Goshawk attached to Training Air Wing (TW) 2, launch from the flight deck of the the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during his first visit to the ship, March 16, 2021. Harker met with senior leaders to discuss Gerald R. Ford and Ford-class unique capabilities, as well as key achievements toward its operational readiness. Gerald R. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications.
