ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 16, 2021) Acting Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) the Honorable Thomas W. Harker arrives aboard the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) for his first visit to the ship and is received by the ship's commanding officer, Capt. Paul Lanzilotta, March 16, 2021. Harker met with senior leaders to discuss Gerald R. Ford and Ford-class unique capabilities, as well as key achievements toward its operational readiness. Gerald R. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications.
