YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 17, 2021) Operations Specialist 2nd Class Joshua Araujo, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), receives the COVID-19 vaccine from Hospitalman Isabella Best, assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka, during a COVID-19 vaccine distribution at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka�s (CFAY) Hawk�s Nest. The vaccination was held for active duty and civilian front line essential assigned to CFAY and tenant commands. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
