PHILIPPINE SEA (FEB. 25, 2021) Marines and Sailors with Force Reconnaissance Platoon, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participate in a moving drill aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 25, 2021. These drills train Marines to be able to engage targets while on the move. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of Amphibious Squadron 11 in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
