Key West Seabees are executing the $4,000 overhaul while the ECP is closed for shade installation. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and constructions experts of the naval service and will commemorate their 79th birthday and the 154th birthday of the Civil Engineer Corps March 5. Naval Air Station Key West is the state-of-the-art facility for combat fighter aircraft of all military services, provides world-class pierside support to U.S. and foreign naval vessels, and is the premier training center for surface and subsurface military operations.
