NAVAL BASE GUAM (Feb. 25, 2021) U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Alexis Bell and Lance Cpl. Adrian Medina, both landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 3, Combat Logistics Regiment 3 (CLR-3), 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), conduct an external lift to a MH-60S Sea Hawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8 for a vertical replenishment of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), Naval Base Guam, Feb. 25, 2021. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force's comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
