GROTON, Conn. (Feb. 24, 2021) Hospitalman Sabrina Mandly administers the COVID-19 vaccine to a Sailor in Morton Hall Gymnasium at Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London. The gym was used as a mass-distribution site for personnel scheduled to receive the vaccine. As a large portion of the nation's population will need to be vaccinated before COVID-19 risks diminish, all base personnel, including those vaccinated and immunized, will continue to wear appropriate facial coverings, practice physical distancing and maintain other virus mitigation measures.
