GROTON, Conn. (Feb. 24, 2021) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Patrick Laabs draws a COVID-19 vaccine from a vial into a syringe during a mass distribution event in Morton Hall Gymnasium at Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London. The gym was used as a mass-distribution site for base personnel scheduled to receive the vaccine. All base personnel have been encouraged to take the vaccine when offered, to protect their health, their families, and the community and lower risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
