NORFOLK (Feb. 22, 2021) The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk refueling barge YON 323 pumps F-76 fuel to the Italian navy aircraft carrier ITS Cavour (CVH 550) at Naval Station Norfolk. This is the third delivery of fuel from the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk fuel department to the Italian navy flagship. The fuels department worked closely with Cavour’s sponsor ship, the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), port operations and the crew of Cavour to ensure the successful delivery of nearly 600 thousand gallons of marine diesel and jet fuel to Cavour. (U.S. Navy photo by Jim Kohler)
