PHILIPPINE SEA (Feb. 19, 2021) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. John Lake, from Chantilly, Va., mans a GAU-17 minigun aboard a UH-1Y Huey helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 during a live-fire training exercise. VMM-262 is operating with the America Expeditionary Strike Group and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
