PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 12, 2021) A Sailor signals all clear for an F/A-18C Hornet from the “Death Rattlers” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323 on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 11, is deployed conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
