MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI, Japan (Jan. 22, 2021) A U.S. Marine Corps 7-ton fuel truck with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171, and a U.S. Navy P-8 Poseidon aircraft, assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 5, sit on the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Jan. 22, 2021. Marines with MWSS-171 enable force projection of joint forces throughout the Indo-Pacific by providing aircraft re-armament and refueling, airfield construction, and airfield security.
