SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 9, 2021) An F/A-18F Super Hornet from the “Fighting Redcocks” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 22 launches off the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz and Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Groups are conducting dual carrier operations in the Indo-Pacific in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
