SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 9, 2021) The guided-missile destroyers USS Sterett (DDG 104) and USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) transit the South China Sea. The Nimitz and Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Groups are conducting dual carrier operations in the Indo-Pacific in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
