STRAIT OF MALACCA (Feb. 5, 2021) The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) and the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) transit the Strait of Malacca, Feb. 5. Nimitz and Princeton are part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and are deployed conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
