PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 2, 2021) Boatswain's Mate Seaman Aliana Valde, from New City, N.Y., directs an Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, assigned to the U.S. Army Aviation Battalion Japan, to land aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65). Benfold is assigned to Destroyer Squadron Fifteen (DESRON 15), the Navy's largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
