CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Jan. 14, 2021) Hospitalman Timothy Bilo, a Hospital Corpsman assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Corpus Christi, administers the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to a patient during a shot-ex at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas. NMRTC-CC is following the DoD�s COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan to implement a phased strategy to administer the vaccine to protect our fighting force and maintain readiness. Currently, the vaccine is only available to service members, DOD civilians and other employees who preform mission-essential functions such as healthcare, emergency services and other areas deemed critical to operations and readiness.
