SASEBO, Japan (Dec. 29, 2020) Builder 3rd Class Ahrmaan Williams, from Long Beach, Calif., assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3's Detail Sasebo, uses a concrete vibrator to ensure the removal of air pockets in freshly-placed concrete for a pedestal for the construction of one of two pre-engineered buildings being constructed for Naval Beach Unit 7 at Yokose Naval Base, Japan. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
