PEARL HARBOR (Dec. 14, 2020) Capt. Christopher Tepera, commanding officer of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Pearl Harbor, closes the Cleanslate UV machine to begin the sanitation of his keys, badges, and cellphone. The Cleanslate UV machine is a new, state-of-the-art sanitation machine recently implemented in Naval Health Clinic Hawaii clinics for use by patients and staff in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The machine is a hospital-grade UV light sanitizer that kills bacteria on surfaces such as cell phones, keys, wallets, and badges in 20 seconds. (U.S. Navy photo by Macy Hinds)
