GRAND BARA DESERT, Djibouti (Dec. 10, 2020) About 100 service members stationed at Camp Lemonnier run in the 38th International Grand Bara Race over a stretch of the Grand Bara Desert in Djibouti, Dec. 10, 2020. The 15-kilometer run is held by the French Forces Djibouti and honors the long history of the French relationship with Djibouti. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
