MANAMA, Bahrain (Dec. 2, 2020) Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Energy, Installations and Environment) Charles Williams, Jr., cuts a ribbon marking the opening of a new playground onboard Naval Support Activity Bahrain with Capt. Greg Smith, commanding officer, NSA Bahrain, Donald Wells, director of morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) Bahrain, and MWR personnel during a tour of Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain. Williams visited NSA Bahrain to review the installation's energy, infrastructure, warfighting and environmental operations and capabilities. NSA Bahrain enables the forward operations and responsiveness of U.S. and allied forces in support of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central's mission to provide services to the fleet, warfighter and family.
