John Kurtz, the commanding officer of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25), co-pilots a UH-1Y Venom alongside Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
