PAGO BAY, Guam (Nov. 18, 2020) ) Sailors deployed with the expeditionary mine countermeasures (ExMCM) capability of Task Force 75 and Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen assigned to Special Boat Team 12 recover a Mark 18 Mod 2 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) onto a combatant craft medium in Pago Bay, Guam. The maritime unmanned systems team in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility launched and recovered UUVs to execute sonar hydrographic survey evolutions in order to detect and identify underwater hazards.
