SAN DIEGO (Oct. 30, 2020) Acting Under Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Gregory J. Slavonic, stands with the honors detail on the foc'sle of the Zumwalt-class guided missile destroyer USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001) during the ship's return to San Diego, California. Secretary Slavonic traveled to southern California to meet with Sailors and Marines, gaining enhanced insight to Fleet modernization, cyber and readiness efforts that will ultimately build a more lethal force.
