Brad Geary, Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) Basic Training Command (BTC) commanding officer, speaks with Under Secretary of the Navy (Acting), the Honorable Mr. Gregory J. Slavonic, while observing a training evolution at NSWCEN in Coronado, Calif., Oct. 28, 2020. NSWCEN provides initial assessment and selection and subsequent advanced training to the Sailors who make up the Navy�s SEAL and Special Boat Teams. Naval Special Warfare Command is committed to its Sailors and the deliberate assessment and development of their tactical excellence, ethics, and leadership as the nation�s premiere maritime special operations force supporting the National Defense Strategy.
