CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa (Oct. 29, 2020) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to 3rd Medical Battalion (Med. Bn.), 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), evaluate a simulated casualty at the Medical Skills Training Center at Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 29, 2020. Sailors with 3rd Med. Bn. participated in an alert contingency Marine Air-Ground Task Force training evolution to practice their combat lifesaving skills in an expeditionary environment. Third MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
