PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 15, 2020) The amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), embarked with U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, steams through the eastern Pacific Ocean.
