PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 5, 2020) A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), takes off from the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) during flight operations while underway in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
