PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 5, 2020) A Sailor assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) instructs a U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II pilot with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), taxi onto the flight deck of Makin Island while underway in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
